I am always grateful when a girl is willing to share her secret after being asked, “Where did you get that?!” Who doesn’t want to go to a website or store knowing for a fact that you’re going to buy something you definitely love because you’ve already seen it on, or used by, someone else? It’s the best! I thought it would be fun to share a personal list of 10 Pretty Things I Don’t Want to Live Without and the reasons why I love them!

  1. Lolli Milk & Cookies Phone Case
    Milkcookiescase
I used to have an amazing Kate Spade Ice Cream Cone Phone Case but, long story short, it fell off of the top of my car and onto a main road after an appointment with our pediatrician! I’m basically a mess any time my son gets his shots. Anyways, as of now, the ice cream cases are no longer available and I was due for something new anyway, so I purchased this amazing Milk & Cookies Phone Case! SO CUTE! Nordstrom kills it in the phone cover department. From a shark to a pop tart to a pineapple (another favorite of mine), the cases are all creative and so much fun; people always tell me that it makes their day when they first see it. And who doesn’t want to make someone’s day?!

2. Pink Sugar Perfume

pinksugar
It smells as good as it sounds! My husband is addicted to this perfume and comments on it every single time I wear it. I don’t typically choose sweeter smells for myself, but I have been shocked by the continual compliments that I have received when I wear it. I literally always hear, “Who smells so good?!” when we walk into a room. It will basically make you smell like freshly spun cotton candy but it’s not overwhelmingly strong and, unlike some other sweet perfumes, it doesn’t make you feel like a little girl wearing old-school Lip Smacker. It’s the perfect combination of ‘sweet’ and ‘adult’.

3. Genuine + Ginger Cuff Bracelets

cuffbracelets

These are by far my favorite bracelets! One of the best parts about this company is that they allow you to customize your bracelet to say whatever your sweet little heart desires. And it’s super affordable! I love words, but even more so when those words can be translated into things that I own, giving them meaning. Add a verse, initials or your most-commonly-used-phrase and choose from gold, silver or copper – or my personal favorite – stack all three. These cuffs are a super pretty and easy accessory for your every-day outfit and also great as gifts. I gave two to my best friend for her birthday and I also gave one to the winner of my first giveaway! Keep an eye out for more in the future!

4. Anastasia Brow Wiz

browwiz2

If you need any eyebrow help what-so-ever, this Brow Wiz is a lifesaver! Before I discovered this magic pencil, I tried using MAC eyeshadow to fill in my brows and it just didn’t work with me. It now takes me about one minute to make my brows exactly how I want them!

My eyebrows are a Medium Brown, but I purchase the Taupe because it’s much easier to darken the color than to lighten it. The attached brush is one of the best I’ve ever used and the pencil is fool-proof and easy to wipe off.
Use this to fill in or tame your brows and they’re destined to be on-fleek every time. It’s absolutely worth every penny!

5. Batiste Dry Shampoo

batisteThere isn’t much to say about this dry shampoo aside from the fact that:
1. It’s heaven sent
2: I have used a lot of different dry shampoos that either leave my hair greasy, smelling weird or looking like I dumped a bucket of baby powder on my head. Batiste is definitely not any of those things.

Who has time to wash, blow-dry, straighten or curl your hair every single day? This stuff is a necessity for anyone who has a life (and for anyone who doesn’t want to destroy their hair by washing and putting heat on it every day!) The Batiste dry shampoos that I use (Original, Blush or Light & Blonde) are perfect because they refresh my hair and substantially lighten my roots without making them overly-white. Batiste also offers the Divine Dark for darker shades of hair!

6. Quay Australia Sunglasses

quay
If I’m honest, I almost didn’t want to share this little secret of mine! Sometimes it’s nice having something of our own that makes our wardrobe unique – but Urban Outfitters got ahold of them and has started to sell them in their stores  – so my “secret” is already out (and probably has been for longer than I even know!) So now it’s time to share with you all because I love you! These sunglasses are the best. Quay is always adding new styles to fit any face shape and they’re just so fun! I have linked my three favorites that they currently have up on their website, quayaustralia.com.

7. Brass and Wood Necklaces

brassandwood
These necklaces take an insane amount of talent! I have yet to find one that I don’t absolutely love. The combination of various wood styles melded together with brass creates a super pretty statement piece. They are then matched with a cord that accents the finished pendant. Look at all of the colors! My personal style has been transitioning lately from bulky, statement necklaces to dainty, unique pieces just like these. I love the contrast of the colors on top of a casual tank, a pretty blouse with jeans or a shift dress with booties. The blush pink is currently my favorite! It is very likely that you will be stopped in your tracks by people and asked, “Where did you get that?!”

8. Be Still Clothing Company Tee

I already own two t-shirts from this company and plan to fill up my wardrobe with a lot more! Be Still is a faith-based company with cute and clever designs on their shirts with phrases like, “Stressed, Blessed and Coffee Obsessed” and “Grace and Coffee Because Adulting is Hard.” One of my favorites is a, “Jesus Loves This Hot Mess” tank – because that couldn’t be more true! 😉  There really is something for everyone and the heart behind the company (along with the customer service) couldn’t be more inspiring!

The Be Still website says, “Be Still Clothing Company was started…as a means to bring hope to the hopeless, strength to the weak, and comfort to those in pain. Exodus 14:14 says “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to BE STILL,” and Psalm 46:10 says “BE STILL and know that I am God.” These verses have been a source of strength to so many in their time of need.  Be Still Clothing Company wants to share this truth with others through our clothing in a fashionable and comfortable way.” Amen to that!

9. Celebrate

celebrateLauren Conrad’s ‘Celebrate’ book is any hostess’ dream come true. I really love her and this book is basically a guide to entertaining in the prettiest ways possible. It has influenced quite a few of the gatherings that I have had at my own home. (P.S. Have you seen Lauren Conrad’s kitchen?! It’s seriously a dream!) I love her super pretty pictures and suggestions on food, drinks, invitations and gifts. I promise you’ll love it!

10. Anthropologie Capri Volcano Candle

volcanoEvery house needs its signature smell – this Volcano Candle is mine! I worked at the retail store, Anthropologie, while I was in college. If you’ve ever shopped there, you know that it smells incredible as soon as you walk in the door. The smell of the store is a blend of multiple different candles, and as I obviously spent a lot of time there, I decided it would be worth it to go on a search for the best of the best. I had assumed that it would be more difficult than it was considering that they have so many that are just delicious. But as soon as I found the Capri Volcano Candle, I was sold. It’s a combination of tropical fruits and sugary citrus; and although the price is a little bit on the higher end for a candle, they last forever and are so worth it! We burn the Volcano for every season and my husband is always asking me to “buy more” because he loves the way that it smells. That’s a win in my book!
